{A Wedding in LA} Five Amazing Wedding Venues in Los Angeles

By Ashleigh, Marry Me Metro Editor

After we graduated from the University of Michigan, Brett and I lived in Los Angeles for two and a half years, and one of the best parts of  living in Southern California was the immense diversity of places to dine, relax, and explore. When thinking about hosting your dream city wedding in Los Angeles, there are no shortage of immaculate venues for that fit all types of wedding themes, tastes, and styles.

Here are five amazing wedding venues for you to consider when planning your wedding in LA:

Hotel Wedding in LA: The SLS at Beverly Hills

Why I love this Los Angeles wedding venue: The SLS at Beverly Hills is an immaculate wedding hotel with an eclectic flair and a modern decor that is unlike any other boutique hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing. The SLS has a stunning rooftop pool, several event spaces and bars, cuisine by the world renonwed chef, José Andrés, and of course, the weekly celebrity sightings. I mean, there’s a reason Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odoms lived in this hotel for a month while they we looking for a new house! Insider tip: if you go for a site visit, be sure to try my favorite drink at Bar Centro, The “Magic” Mojito. It’s strained over cotton candy! YUM!

Luxury Wedding in LA: The Vibiana

Why I love this Los Angeles wedding venue: You can have traditional church style ceremony in this former Catholic cathedral, in the heart of Los Angeles, without all of the church type photography and video restrictions. Also, because the space boasts an open floor plan of over 35,000 beautiful square feet, you can use a variety of decor elements, uplighting, florals, and layouts to truly make the venue your own.

Vintage Wedding in LA: Union Station

Why I love this Los Angeles wedding venue: Built in 1939, this historic Los Angeles location has a unique style with the combination of art deco and spanish decor. It’s a quintessential LA wedding venue and would be ideal for any vintage wedding. As an added bonus, you can bring your own caterer!

Romantic Wedding in LA: Bel-Air Bay Club

Why I love this Los Angeles wedding venue: When I was living in LA, I had the pleasure of working with the wedding planner of a gorgeous wedding at this breathtaking Pacific Ocean location. With the unbelievable seaside views, palm trees, and historic ballroom, the Bel-Air Bay Club exhibits Los Angeles wedding romance at its best!

Budget Wedding in LA: The Rococo Room

Why I love this Los Angeles wedding venue: In fairness, this venue is technically in Pasadena, but since this is Marry Me Metro, Pasadena counts as Metro LA :) Anyhow, I love the urban flair of this space and really love the pricing if you are looking to stay within a tight budget. This venue is definitely well below market rate for Southern California and you can have an amazing reception without breaking the bank at the Rococo Room.

We love the ocean view for an intimate ceremony. We can safely agree with you when you said it is romance at its best.
